Hey guys.   What are your plans for Blizzcon? 

I am trying to get my travel plans set.  What days do you guys go?  Both?  Lemme know!

Well, some of us will be at Blizzcon because they HAVE to be, being as it is required for their continued employment.  So for THOSE people (who shall remain nameless... both of them), they will be there every day, starting long before the doors open.

For those of us who shall also be going (in some cases to provide moral support for one of the two required to be there), we shall be there both days, starting in the morning, until the close of the hall, including listening to the concert.

The after hours parties over at the Hilton are crazy, but I don't think some of us will be going this year, although I have heard a couple of people will be.  At least one night we should all try and hook up for at least a few drinks and knoshes...

The Uther Table get-together in the hall was kinda cool last year, but it was crowded and noisy, and hard to hear folks.  But I will be noting the time once we get there, so folks can wander by and meet other Uther players.

Other than that, it is gonna be the Panel discussions and some serious time on D3 for me this year.

Mitch and I will be flying in on the 18th. We should land in John Wayne Airport around 4.  We are staying in Costa Mesa at a Holiday Inn I believe.  I hoped that night we could all get together and have dinner.  Then on the 19th, if I remember correctly from posts over the years, you can go get your tickets and grab bag.  As for Blizzcon itself, Mitch and I will be going both days and loving every minute of it.  Finally, we leave on Sunday at like 8 am.

Both days of course, if you're going to bother to go in the first place gotta go both days. :-p

I'll be meeting up with people again. Might try to meet up at the Uther table this year but most people I care to meet I have already anyways. Probably go to downtown disney after day one. Meeting some friends from Hyjal that want to eat there. There's also other good places to eat there, it's a short walk from blizzcon.

Hopefully they'll sell the blizzcon only merch at the website store this yeah. Well than and use employees instead of temps at the store. Two years ago the line moved fast last year it sucked (and they had less merch). Either way I'll have to get stuff. Damn Blizzard and their addictive properties! :-D

Oh and for those of us that will play starcraft II it's much better to play head to head with a friend line was way shorter.

Alright. I'll keep all that in mind. Thanks. I'll probably be driving in from Vegas.   I guess I'll shoot for Thursday.   I would like to meet up with people for dinner.   I'll see if I can stay in Costa Mesa also.  It would be nice to be near everyone.  Since meeting you all is the whole reason I am going!

What is the Uther table? Is it a place to eat?  Or a table/area of the convention center?  Like a booth?  Also, I have to meet up with Jason and Tina to do the ticket exchange.  I assume she's also going Friday, so I'd better be there!

And I already know Jason is going to be pretending he doesnt know me.  I DONT CARE!  YOU DONT HURT ME  JASON.

The "Uther" table will most likely be a coctail table between halls B and C which will be dedicated as a meeting place for individuals who play on Uther for a few short hours on one of the days.  There will be a schedule of events you will receive after you pick up your tickets - on that schedule it will list what time to meet there.  Last year we were lucky to finally meet some of the folks from ROV that we'd known forever but had never met face to face.

Ok, I was graciously offered a room at my girlfriends house.  They live in West Covina. For those not familiar with SoCal, thats about an hour away.  It just so happens to be her wedding anniversary weekend, so they are planning a party one of the nights. 

SOOO what day are we all meeting up for dinner?  They are going to make their anniversary party around my schedule (I have such cool friends) so I need to know what day our "guild" dinner is :)

I cant wait to meet all of you.  Some again, some for the first time! 

I believe Dan and Mitch wanted to get together for dinner on the evening of the 18'th (which is Tuesday).  That may be a bit before you are getting into town, Dana.  My suggestion would be for the evening of the 20'th, or the 21'st.  The concert is on the 22'nd, I believe, and lasted until 9-10pm, so kinda late to be doing dinner.

If we could get together on Friday night for dinner that would probably be the easiest thing, since then there won't be any possible issues with interferring with parties (and there will be a lot of parties at the surrounding hotels - esp. the Hilton, if last year was any indication...).  If that doesn't work, at the very least we can group up for drinks at one of the places close by before people troop out to party.

We can meet up for whatever day works best for folks.  Just let us know.

Kaippe and I are not going to Blizzcon, but if we can swing it we might try to make it up for dinner.  Not sure if that will be doable with the traffic, but we will see.  Would love to see you all if we get the chance.

After reading these posts, I looked at mine and Mitch's tickets and we are not flying in until Wednesday the 19th, not Tuesday the 18th.  I love how I did not even know what day we flew in LOL.

Fail.  But I shouldn't have expected anything less...

OK, the offical dinner get together is on Sat. evening, Aug. 22.  We will try and do it early enough not to conflict with anyone's addt'l plans for the evening.  There are a LOT of places to eat in the area near the Anaheim CC, or we can go to someplace away from the crowds.  We can discuss it more as we get closer to the date.

But if anyone has any preferences as to what they would like for dinner, now is the time to speak up.

I just would like to be able to sit and talk with you guys.  Relaxed setting, nothing too loud, as I wanna actually hear you people!   Where that happens though, I have no preference.
